XDC Network successfully upgraded to the v2.6.8 “Cancun” hard fork at block 98,800,200, with the network operating normally and upgraded nodes participating in consensus. The upgrade enhances EVM performance, protocol stability, and compatibility, strengthening the foundation for real-world assets, trade finance, cross-border payments, and scalable decentralized applications.
